Central Uniforms and Clothing

Central playing and off-field range

Central on-field uniforms (both outdoor and indoor) and off-field gear are only available from the Central online shop.

The only exceptions are the Central navy and white playing socks which continue to be available from the Hockey Shop at the Lyneham Hockey Centre.

The Club will hold a limited range of on-field uniforms (in limited styles and sizes). Most items will only be ordered on an as-needs basis. Therefore, it is essential that players consider their uniform requirements well ahead of the season.

While this may not be as convenient as purchasing from the Hockey Shop, it will reduce the cost to Club members and will ensure that the Club does not need to write-off unsold items.

Central’s online shop

Central will utilise two options for online shopping:

ISC Club Shop will be used for most on-field uniforms and off-field gear orders, and
RevolutioniseSport Shop will be used for smaller orders (e.g. indoor singlets) and stock held by the Club.

Both online shops will only be open for specific windows. These windows (see below) will be advised to members via their teams, social media and Club website, as appropriate.

It is important to note:

- Purchases are paid for when the order is submitted.

- If the item does not say “pre-order” next to it, it is in stock and can usually be supplied within 2 weeks of the order unless advised it is urgent.

- If the item does say “pre-order” then the order will be placed for the item at the end of the order window and there is an expected wait of 4-6 weeks for delivery to the Club.

Minimum orders

Some items that are advertised for sale may require a minimum order across the Club before they can be supplied. If the minimum is not reached you will be offered an alternative item or a refund.

Order windows

As there is a lead time for producing, shipping and delivering items, there will be a cut-off date to ensure that items are delivered before the start of the outdoor and indoor season. The cut-off will be approximately 6-7 weeks prior to the start of each season although there will be a second order early in the outdoor season and for off-field gear. The cut-off dates will be advertised via their teams, social media and Club website, as appropriate.

Refunds and returns

As the Club is not intending to hold stock and items will be made to order with Club branding, refunds will generally not be available from ISC, so please select carefully. If you have received a faulty item, please contact secretary@centralhockey.org. The club will handle returns and/or perform exchanges with ISC.

Sizing

If a new item is introduced an example will be made available, where feasible, for a short period to assist in ordering the correct size.

Typical junior and senior outdoor uniform costs

For the outdoor season, Central junior (other than Hin2H) and senior players are required to have a Central playing short/skirt and playing top (available from the online shop above) and a pair of Central navy and a pair of Central white socks (available from the Hockey Shop at the Lyneham Hockey Centre). Indicative costs, as at January 2025, for Central on-field uniform are:

Sublimated Long Sleeve Playing Shirt Adult (men and women) - $40.

Sublimated Kids Long Sleeve Playing Shirt - $35.

Playing Shorts men or playing Skirt women - $30.

Playing Shorts Kids or playing Skirt Kids - $25.

Indoor Singlet (men & women) - $30.

Indoor Singlet Kids - $25.

Central socks - $15 per pair.

These prices are subject to change and may vary depending on the chosen style.

Also available is a range of off-field Central gear for adults and kids including tracksuit pants, polo shirts, hoodies, wet weather jackets, padded vests, training shorts and backpacks .

Hookin2Hockey gear

All Hin2H players receive a free shirt supplied when initially joining Central - players are asked to wear this each week as we build a team and club mentality - it promotes inclusion across the program. These shirts are also worn during the two (2) Hookin2Hockey Carnivals where we play games against other Clubs.

Long socks are required, which can be any colour or type as long as they can fit shin pads inside. The shin pads are supplied through their Hin2H pack. There are no restrictions on shorts/pants/tights - players can wear what is comfortable and warm!

Indoor uniforms

Indoor is typically more casual than outdoor hockey and Central can have several teams in the one grade. The standard Central navy and white socks are normally worn, and a Central indoor singlet is available and must be worn by senior Supers players. However, for other teams it is best to confirm uniform requirements with the team manager.

Second hand items

As Central has a supply of some new clothing items, a second-hand shop is not currently offered. If you have well maintained Central items that are no longer required, please advise your team manager or teammates with the following details:

First name, preferred email or phone number, a good description of the items (including age, level of wear, style, size, etc) and price indicating if this is negotiable. A photo can be included.
