REMINDER
Before you attend any 2024 Outdoor
pre-season training, please ensure you register/renew your
2024 Hockey Australia (HAUS) Levy
For insurance purposes, to be able to participate in 2024 outdoor pre-season training you must first pay the 2024 HAUS insurance levy.
The HAUS levy is:
** Seniors $57.31 if turning 19 or older in 2024
** Juniors $45.31 if 18 and under in 2024.
For training you need to pay the 2024 levy even if you are playing 2023/24 indoor.
If you are not already paid up for 2024 HAUS Levy (via any Club payment point), registration/ renewal can be carried out via the "Registration" page on the Central website https://www.centralhockey.org/registration. HAUS payments are required to be completed by credit card.

Ray Dorsett
Order of Australia Medal
Central Hockey Club congratulates Club Life Member, Ray Dorsett, on his recent receipt of an OAM. The Club sincerely thanks Ray for his significant contribution to Central and to ACT and Australian hockey.
Leading to his stellar career as an ACT State player (Outdoor, Indoor and Veterans), ACT State Coach (Junior Boys, Senior Men and Senior Women), Hockey ACT Committee Contribution, and Australian Men's Hockey High Performance Manager & Team Manager roles (including 3 Gold, 3 Silver, 1 Bronze Medals),
Ray's contribution to Central Hockey Club included:
• Men's Committee Member, four years,
• Men's Executive Committee Member, one year.
• Junior Boys Committee Member, two years.
• Junior Boys Executive Committee Member, two years.
• Coach, various teams including Men's, Women's and Junior Boys, 1972-1986
• Outdoor Hockey Player, 25 years.
• Senior Team Captain, three years.
• Social Events Organiser, one year.
• Life Member, 2016.
• Dorsett/Quinlivan Shield named in their honour, 1980.

Welcome to Central Hockey Club! Formed in 1955, we are one of the oldest and most successful hockey clubs in the ACT. We cater for all Senior & Junior age groups and skill levels, indoor & outdoor, from those players at the elite level to those who have never played before.
